Popular Culture and Entertainment

Concepts such as manga, video games and anime are part of modern Japanese popular culture.
In late 1980 the family was focused on leisure activities such as trips to parks or shopping malls. Japanese society is known for being very hardworking with little time devoted to pleasure, the Japanese are seeking a form of entertainment anyway.


There is a wide variety of entertainment in Japan for example an extensive collection of music, movies, video games, manga and anime's own country, which have been widely accepted worldwide.

Another form of entertainment is globally known Japanese karaoke, which is that a person singing a song following the lyrics on the screen television.
Many traditional games are played by children as jankenpon the hanafuda that consists of playing with cards, etc.
But board games are those that are most played, some are the go is a strategy game with cards and shugi which is a Japanese variant of chess.
